This exhibition is the first large-scale academic research exhibition on the theme of Shaanxi contemporary Chinese landscape painting held in the history of Shaanxi art. It is not only of high specification and large scale, but also takes into account academic and public welfare, aiming to sum up and explore the important artistic contributions, artistic achievements, artistic experience, artistic spirit and cultural values given by Shaanxi painting circles in the process of Chinese modern and contemporary landscape painting.
The exhibition is divided into four sections, with the context of The Times as the longitudinal traverse and the style and artistic achievements of the works as the horizontal main line, to conduct an academic review and summary of Shaanxi landscape painting from the 1950s to the present. Through the display of 36 representative artists and 218 works of each period, Systematic, three-dimensional and multi-dimensional presentation of Shaanxi contemporary landscape painting creation of spiritual style, academic height and close combination with The Times, mutual promotion of logic.

His works have outstanding achievements in the fields of figures, landscapes, flower-and-bird paintings, especially landscape painting, which can best reflect his unique artistic spirit and is an important milestone in the development of Chinese painting. After the reform and opening up, "85 New art trends" intensified the academic choices of Chinese painting practitioners. Cui Zhenkuan, Miao Chongan, Zhang Zhenxue and other painters, through inheriting tradition and modern innovation, combined with the artistic spirit of Chang 'an painting School, expressed natural landscapes and formed a new Chang 'an painting style with distinct regional characteristics. The fourth section is "Spring is the time".
