The main raw materials of ink were coal smoke, pine smoke, glue, etc. Initially, it was only black, but later there were various colored inks such as vermilion ink. According to the production method, ink is mainly divided into pine smoke ink and oil smoke ink. Pine smoke ink has a dark color, poor glossiness, and light gum, while oil smoke ink is black and shiny, with more luster.
